What is easier or more satisfying than a hearty almost made from scratch soup and toast fingers to dip!

Yep, just me Cathy thinking out loud about Dinner In 15.
Note: I was compensated to review Maple Leaf Prime Chicken Strips. The recipe I chose, and my opinions are my own based on personal experience with this product and brand.
Looks delicious, Cathy! I would have never thought to put salsa in chicken soup. My hubby would love it!

ReplyDeleteLooks SOOOOO yummy and I love that it is ready to go so quickly - something we are in need of every night of the week! The boys cry if food isn't on the table fast enough for them! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIf you had asked me I would have said that a soup like this fell under "restaurant food", definitely NOT dinner in 15 material. I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a great meal for my family. My kids love beans, chicken noodle soup, corn, all of it! I like that you can add pretty much anything to the soup. You know how I love to substitute. I'll be adding this one to my list of dinner meals. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBesos, Sarah

ReplyDeleteThis sounds delicious! My kids come home from school starving - thanks for this recipe for a hearty meal that i can get on the table quickly!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great tip Cathy! Some nights the thought of making dinner is just overwhelming, but a yummy meal like this in just 15 minutes is a great motivator to put down the take-out menu and get cooking --better yet, teach the kids to make it!!
ReplyDeleteLooks good, but how high is the sodium in a dish like that? We're not cutting out sodium in the house, but we are trying to limit it.
ReplyDeleteJim you can easily make this with a low sodium or reduced sodium store bought broth and soup noodles instead of a mix. I often make my own broth and freeze it for quick meals. Also be sure to rinse the beans very well to reduce the sodium. Best part about this recipe is that you can adapt it to your taste and dietary restrictions. Thanks so much for commenting I really appreciate you taking the time to read my recipe!
DeleteCathy, this look delicious. I'll have to try this one. Thanks for the great recipe.
