WHAT 2 WATCH WED #W2WW Recommendation #19 #Graduation #SchoolisOut theme @Netflix_CA

I regularly have conversations on social media and in real life with friends and family about which TV shows, or movies are good to watch. So I thought why not share on Cathy Thinking Out Loud once a week, on Wednesday (aka #W2WW) recommendations I have, or ones shared with me. Please share your recommendations in the comments section! Warmer weather and the month of June turns thoughts to the end of school, summer vacation, and for some graduation, prom, and transitioning into a new stage in life. This week's recommendations (better late than never) found on Netflix Canada have a summer, graduation and post graduation transition theme.

Tween, Teen & Adult rated movies:

Shes All That: (1999) PG 13 3/5 stars.
"Jock and class president Zack accepts his friends wager to makeover geeky, bespectacled Laney into a prom queen beauty - with unexpected results."

Pretty in Pink: (1986) PG 4/5 stars.
"A poor girl. A rich guy. All that stands between them are snobs, status, and a dear friend's affections."

Tiny Furniture: (2010) NR 3/5 stars.
"No way back. No way forward. When school ends there's just excruciating, hilarious, everyday ... life."

Adventureland: (2009) 14A 3.5/5 stars.
Summer turns bummer for a seriously uptight Gen-Xer. But a crappy job may be just the thing to loosen him up."

Superbad: (2007) 14A 4/5 stars.
"Two best friends' quest to buy booze for a party in hope of scoring with girls leads them on a series of wacky misadventures."

Kids & Family Rated Movies: (found in Netflix Kids)

Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer: (2011) G
"Stuck at home all summer? Boooring. It'll take a ginormous imagination and some wacky dares to pop up this vacation."

Smitty: (2012) G
"A dog named Smitty helps a 13-year-old city boy learn some important life lessons after he's sent to his grandparent's farm in Iowa for the summer."

Princess Diaries 2: (2007) G 3/5 stars.
"From ordinary teen to princess ... next stop. queen! But old-fashioned rules means she needs a husband first."

Diary of a Wimpy: Dog Days: (2012) G.
"A series of disasters leaves two pals with a severe case of summertime blues. Could sweet revenge be the answer?"

Good Burger: (1997) PG.
"They'll have to work together and cook up something special to keep the burgers flipping this summer."

Yep, just me Cathy thinking out loud about what to watch.
